Combat management system for unmanned vehicles

FACNAV UXS C2 is a tool made for increased efficiency and precision for military UXS operators. As it is part of the FACNAV BMS, the tool offers all core functionality for two-way information sharing. This increases the UXS operators’ situational awareness and decreases time spent on planning and tasking.

Unmanned platforms are operating in the air, ground, surface and subsurface. UXS C2 allows operations in all domains.

Unlike generic solutions that attempt to fit all vehicle types, this system is custom-tailored to military users by tuned functionality, easy to operate under combat stress. At the same time, it allows basic operations of vehicles not specifically integrated.

Target acquisition and sharing

Utilises vehicle sensors to detect, identify and create target data that's instantly shared across the network. Integrates seamlessly with mounted systems and modules for Digitally Aided Fire Support (DAFS) and close air support (DACAS), creating true manned-unmanned teaming capabilities where all platforms see and engage as one.

Operational status monitoring and reporting

An informative Head Up Display (HUD) and telemetry provides precise information on the UXS’s attitude and status. Simplified tools for live tasking and management of the UXS allows safe and effective operations of the vehicle.

Sensor management

UXS supports configuration, control and data vizualisation from a wide variety of sensors. Sensordata can be captured, annotated and shared live or postprocessed with other functions using FACNAV or interoperable systems.

Radioplanning

A robust radioplanning tool allows thorough planning of single UXS sorties or complex combined operations, using a mixture of UXS-categories and manned units. This allows precise information on altitudes and GCS emplacement during operations.

GNSS denied operations

UXS offers intuitive functionality for managing platforms with robust and redundant navigation solutions. Navigation calibration can be done, using the UXS video sensors or by using radio-based navigation.

Role-, function- and hardware-adapted interfaces

The software is tailored for two working stations, pilot and payload operator. A well tuned SW allows the pilot to operate from a safe location and robust mechanisms for safe handover/takeover between launch team and pilots minimizes the exposure of personnel at the frontlines.
